This may be the best news I’ve had since starting this cancer journey. My next scan is in FOUR months instead of three! Yep, I had my PET scan last week, and my follow-up meeting with the oncologist today. There are no signs of any new growth, so the oncologist is willing to stretch it a little. If the next one is clear, too, then I may actually get a SIX month window next time. :-)
